An open book with the pages divided into columns and rows. Various handwriting, colors, and stamps are marked on both pages.

The OSS was a predecessor to the modern CIA. It paved the way for the establishment of a professional intelligence agency.

Discovered in CIA archives, this “job register” of the OSS Research & Development Branch contains entries for all R&D projects undertaken by Chief Stanley Lovell and his talented staff of wizards during the war.
